Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Lift the rear seat cushion lift the floor covering to gain access to the submerged fuel pump assembly.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the protective cover (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pump and level gauge.

3. Disconnect the rapid attachment for the fuel supply pipe.4. Unscrew ring nut (4a) using tool (4b).

5. Remove the immersed pump assembly complete with gauge. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the submerged pump assembly complete with gauge back in its housing.Refit the ring nut in its seat and secure with the tool.

Connect the rapid attachment for the fuel supply pipe.Connect the electrical connection to the electric pump and fuel gauge sender unit.Place the protective cover back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Put the floor trim back in its place.Lower the rear seat cushion.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
