Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

1. Remove upper part of floor covering next to facia.2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the inertia switch.

3. Undo retaining nuts (3a) and remove inertia switch (3b) Refitting ( Removing ) Connect the electrical connection to the inertia switch.Place the inertia switch back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Put the floor trim back in its place.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
