Proceed with removal  - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace . Proceed with removal  - 1008B10  power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace . Proceed with removal  - 4450B04  right front wheel r r . Proceed with removal  - 7055B66  Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. . Proceed with removal  - 7055B91  Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. . Proceed with removal  - 1092B40  air conditioner compressor/alternator drive belt - r + r . Proceed with removal  - 1092A10  Crankshaft services PULLEY - R.R. . 1. Turn the crankshaft in its normal direction of rotation to align notch (1a) on the toothed driven pulley with notch (1b) on cylinder head and notch (1c) on the drive pulley aligned with reference (1d) on the front crankshaft oil seal cover.2. Loosen the nut (2a) on the moving tensioner, then prise up and remove the toothed timing drive belt (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit the toothed timing belt.2. Check that the timing is correct checking that the notch (2a) on the toothed driven pulley is aligned with notch (2b) stamped on the cylinder head and notch (2c) on the drive pulley is aligned with reference (2d) on the front crankshaft oil seal cover. 1. Assemble tools (1a) and (1b) at htebench with weight (1c) without the knurled part, positioned at a distance of 65 mm along the rod calibrated in millimetres and secure with the wing nut (1d).

2. Apply the resulting tool to mobile tensioner (2a), adjust the calibrated rod to horizontal position and secure with nut (2b). Turn the crankshaft through two revolutions and ensure the timing references are aligned.Tighten the bolts for the moving tensioner to the recommended torque.

Proceed with refitting  - 4450B04  right front wheel r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r . Proceed with refitting  - 1008A46  cam shaft left rigid mount - r r . Proceed with refitting  - 1008B10  power unit front mount (timing side) flexible block - replace . Proceed with refitting  - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
