Removing ( Refitting ) Place the vehicle on a lift. Drain the coolant (  - 0010T84  coolant for air conditioning system dehydrate and recharge ). 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the expansion valve to the compressor.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
1. Loosen the bands (1a) and remove the hose (1b) from the air filter to the flow meter.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipe from the expansion valve to the compressor.2. Remove the pipe from expansion valve to compressor.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the pipe between the expansion valve and the compressor is not damaged and there are no cracks that would affect the seal.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
1. Place the pipe from the expansion valve to the compressor in position.2. Connect the connector (2a) for the pipe from the expansion valve to the compressor, expansion valve side and fasten it tightening the bolt (2b) to the recommended torque.
