2429312 - 5040A60 pipe from condenser to evaporator (expansion pipe) - r+r

Removing ( Refitting ) Place the vehicle on a lift. Drain the coolant (  - 0010T84  coolant for air conditioning system dehydrate and recharge ).  - 4450B04  right front wheel r r - 7055B91  Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. - 7055B66  Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. - 7210E10  R.R. FRONT BUMPER1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the linear pressure switch.

2. Undo the bolt (2a) and disconnect the connector (2b) for the pipee from the condenser to the evaporator.

Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.

1. Working in the right front wheel arch, release the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator (1a) from the retainer (1b). Lower the vehicle.1. Working the area of the compressor, release the fuel pipes (1a) and fuel vapour pipes (1b) from the retainers (1c).2. Release the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator (2a) from the retainers (2b). 1. Loosen the bands (1a) and remove the hose (1b) from the air filter to the flow meter. 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the expansion valve (1c). 2. Remove the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator. 1. If necessary, undo the linear pressure switch. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the pipe between the condenser and the evaporator is not damaged and there are no cracks which would affect the seal.

Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.

1. If removed, tighten the linear pressure sensor in place.

1. Place the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator in position.2. Connect the connector (2a) for the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator, evaporator side and secure it tightening the bolt (2b) to the recommended torque.

Place the hose from the air filter to the flow meter in position and fasten it using the bands.Attach the pipe to the retainers.Attach the fuel pipes and the fuel vapour pipes to the retainers.Raise the car.Working in the right wheel arch, attach the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator to the retainer.1. Connect the connector (1a) for the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator, condenser side and fasten it tightening the bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connection for the linear pressure switch.  - 7210E10  R.R. FRONT BUMPER - 7055B66  Engine compartment DUST SHIELD protection in right front wheel arch - R.R. - 7055B91  Right front WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R. - 4450B04  right front wheel r r Repressurize using coolant fluid (  - 0010T84  coolant for air conditioning system dehydrate and recharge ). Remove the vehicle from the lift.
