2428823 - 0010T12 engine oil and filter replace

Engine oil is harmful to the skin: minimize contact of the oil with the skin; in case of contact wash with soap and water.

Position the vehicle on the ramp.1. With the engine hot, remove the filler cap.2. Withdraw the oil level dipstick.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the the turbocharger air inlet sleeve from the rigid pipe, air flow meter side.

1. Remove the air filter (1a) complete with air flow meter (1b) by releasing from the underlying pins and then from the rear fastenings.

1. Undo the drain plug on the engine sump and drain the oil fully into a suitable container.

Be careful when removing the drain plug, as the oil could be very hot.

Do not disperse the oil into the environment, as indiscriminate dispersal of this product causes pollution.

Undo the bolts and remove the engine oil filter top cover.1. Unscrew and remove the cartridge oil filter cover (1a) complete with O-ring (1b).2. Withdraw and remove the cartridge oil filter.

Clean the drain plug and screw it on, with its seal, to the specified torque.

Refit a new cartridge oil filter in its seating.Refit in its seating the cartridge oil filter cover complete with O-ring and tighten.Refit in its seating the cartridge oil filter top cover and secure with its bolts.Refill the engine lubrication circuit using the recommended oil.

The table shows the quantity for periodic replacement.

Check that the engine oil level on the dipstick is correct.

The oil level should be checked with the vehicle on flat ground.

Replace the air filter, complete with air flow meter, in its housing.Connect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, air flow meter side, and tighten the band.Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter.Refit the filler cap, run the engine at idle speed for about 2 minutes, turn off the engine and wait a few minutes.Check the oil level and that there are no leaks.Remove the car from the ramps.
