2428890 - 1032C10 MOVING timing TENSIONER - R.R. with timing belt/chain removed

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the moving timing belt tensioner (1b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Using suitable equipment (e.g. a vice), prepare the moving tensioner and keep it fully retracted using a suitable pin.
If a new timing moving tensioner is being fitted, it is available from the Parts Dept. already prepared and fully retracted using a suitable pin.
1. Fit the mobile timing belt tensioner (1a) and secure by tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

When the timing chain has been fitted, remove the moving tensioner pin and check that the moving tensioner piston is in contact with the plate.
