Removing ( Refitting ) With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the battery negative terminal.Lift the rear seat cushion lift the floor covering to gain access to the fuel pump flap.1. Undo th fixing bolts (1a) and remove the protective cover (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pump and level gauge.

Undo the fuel filler cap and remove it to discharge the pressure in the system.3. Disconnect the fuel outlet and return lines from quick-release fittings (3a) and (3b).4. Using the tool (4a), undo the ring nut (4b), then remove the fuel pump complete with gauge.

Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the electric fuel pump in its seat.Fit the lock collar and use the tool to tighten to torque.

Connect the fuel inlet and outlet line quick-release fittings.Connect the electrical connection to the electric pump and level gauge.

Tighten the fuel pump protective cover retaining bolts.Refit the floor covering.Lower the rear seat cushion.With the ignition key in OFF position, connect the battery negative terminal.
