2429114 - 2110D52 l/h flange on differential - r + r with drive shaft removed

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Undo the plug and drain the manual gearbox and differential.

Collect the manual gearbox and differential oil in a suitable container.

1. Prise and remove the left differential internal driveshaft using a special lever.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the left flange on the differential (2b) complete with oil seal.Remove the adjustment shim. Working at the bench, prise up the left flange oil seal on differential

Take care not to damage the oil seal seat during removal.

Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Replace a new oil seal (1a) in its seat on the left flange on the differential using the tool (1b).

Place the thrust washer back in its housing.1. Place the left flange on the differential (1a) back in its housing complete with oil seal and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Place the left differential internal driveshaft back in its housing. 1. Tighten the manual gearbox and differential fluid drain plug to the recommended torque.

Refill the manual gearbox and differential  - 0010T41  MANUAL GEARBOX OIL - Check level and top up, if necessary .
