Functional description
The parking sensor control unit M84 is supplied - pin 13 - by the reversing lights circuit, via the switch for the reversing lights I20, with an ignition-controlled supply (INT/A) from the line for fuse F31 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2. When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends the supply directly via the control unit B2 - pin 7 connector D.The connectors for the four parking sensors K97 are all connected to the control unit M84:
- pin 1 of M84 sends the reference supply to the sensors;
- pin 6 of M84 sends the reference earth to the sensors;
- pin 5 of M84 is connected to sensor K97A;
- pin 2 of M84 is connected to sensor K97B;
- pin 3 of M84 is connected to sensor K97C;
- pin 4 of M84 is connected to sensor K97D.
