I22 DIPPED BEAMS DO NOT COME ON IN "MANUAL" DIPPED MODE - Lancia - Ypsilon - eLearn

The dipped headlamps do not work in dipped beam position but work in Auto mode.

The dipped beams are controlled by the body computer node via a relay on the control panel.

	Connect the Examiner to the diagnostic socket and check the following at the Body Computer Node: plausibility of dipped headlamp on/off parameter	Continue to Step 4	The dipped headlamp on/off parameter does not change	Continue to Step 2
2	CHECKING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the continuity of the wiring between the dipped headlamps control and the Body Computer Node See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS	Continue to Step 3	Break in the electrical wiring or short circuit	Renew the electrical connections See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS
3	CHECKING EXTERIOR LIGHTING	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the interior continuity of the dipped headlamps control	Continue to Step 4	Internal dipped headlamps control connections broken	Replace the steering column switch unit
4	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Replace the Body Computer
