The handbrake lever is released
The handbrake warning light also indicates that the brake fluid level is low and, if it is on at the same time as the ABS warning light, the malfunction of the EBD system. A parking brake warning light activation command is sent by the switch on the lever to the Body Computer Node, which makes it available to the Instrument Panel Node via the B-CAN network
