2427584 - L12 CLIMATE CONTROL TOO COLD

The control button operates the passenger compartment air fan normally, but the temperature of the air is not correct.
Results of the tests
0PRELIMINARY CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation
Check that the evaporator air filter is not blockedContinue to Step 1Evaporator air filter blockedReplace the evaporator filter
1CHECKING SYSTEM PRESSUREAll OKProblems metOperation
Connect the climate control system to the repressurizing equipment and check the system pressure. See Test   5040A  CHECK ON OPERATION OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (TEMPERATURE) Continue to Step 2System pressure incorrect.Coolant pressure too low or too highRestore correct system pressure Op. 5040A10restoring the correct coolant level
2CHECKING WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTAll OKProblems metOperation

Connect the diagnostic equipment and check for errors:

  • in air mixing motors
  • in treated air sensors
  • in frost sensor
Continue to Step 4Air mixing motor error.Continue to Step 3
Air mixing motor error.Continue to Step 3
Air mixing motor error.Continue to Step 3
3ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation

Check continuity/insulation of electrical connection:

  • for air mixing motors if there is an error at the mixing motors;
  • for the treated air sensors if there is an error at the treated air sensor;
  • for the frost sensor if there is an error at the frost sensor.
Continue to Step 7Electrical conection broken or not insulated.Restore electrical connection continuity/insulation.
4CHECKING PIPES AND FILTERAll OKProblems metOperation
Check that high and low pressure pipes and the drier filter for air conditioning system are not blocked.Continue to Step 5Pipe from compressor to condenser blocked.Change the pipe from compressor to condenser Op.   5040A50
