The trip computer on the instrument panel displays the following
information:
General Trip:
Range [km]
Distance travelled [Km]
Average consumption [km/l]
Instantaneous consumption [km/l]
Average speed [km/h]
Journey time [hh:mm]
Trip B (partial):
Distance travelled B [Km]
Average consumpterion B [Km/l]
Average speed B [Km/h]
Journey time B [hh:mm]
The values (B) are calculated from the last
resest (pressing the SET button on the stalk unit right lever) or
automatically after a stop of 2 h with the ignition off.

Characteristic of working principle 5560 INSTRUMENT PANEL
.
The Trip Computer data are calculated within
the instrument panel.
The instrument panel is a node on the CAN
network through which it exchanges information with the Body Computer
and the other electronic units.
See E4010 INSTRUMENT PANELThis diagram shows the operation of those
functions relating to the instrument panel which also affect the
Trip Computer. There is the possibility of showing that
the speed limit has been exceeded on the instrument panel. This
option can be activated/deactivated using the special setup in the
instrument panel. If activated, the instrument panel receives
the vehicle speed figure from the network and compares it with the
level set; if the current speed exceeds the level set, the instrument panel
warns the driver by means of the buzzer.
