2428956 - 1080E28 enablement solenoid for flow of fuel vapour to inlet - r+r

Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal  - 1048A32  sleeve from air cleaner to intake manifold - r + r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and move aside injection/ignition control unit mount assembly (1b).
1. Disconnect the quick-release connector on the pipe from active carbon filter to solenoid, solenoid valve.2. Loosen the band and disconnect the fuel vapour outlet pipe, solenoid side.3. Disconnect the electrical connection from the inlet fuel vapour enabling solenoid valve.

4. Release the injector electrical wiring from the fastenings on the fuel vapour passage enabling solenoid mounting bracket to the intake.5. Undo bolts (5a) and remove the mounting brackets (5b) complete with solenoid enabling fuel passage to intake (5c).
Refitting ( Removing ) Refit the bracket with solenoid enabling fuel vapour passage to intake and secure with bolts.Secure the injector electrical wiring to the fastening on the bracket for the solenoid enabling fuel vapour passage to the intake.Connect the electrical connection to the inlet fuel vapour enabling solenoid valve.Connect the fuel vapour outlet pipe, solenoid side, and tighten the band.Connect the quick-release connector on the pipe from active carbon filter to solenoid, solenoid side.Place the injection - ignition control unit mounting back in its housing and secure it using the bolts. Proceed with refitting  - 1048A32  sleeve from air cleaner to intake manifold - r + r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
