Functional description

The actual lock/release function and the dead lock function are controlled by driver door control unit M66, passenger door control unit M67 and boot control unit, connected via the CAN line to the Body Computer M1. Control units M66 and M67 are supplied- at pin 11 of connector E - from a line protected by fuse F32 of underfacia control unit B2.

Control units M66 and M67 the following inputs:

  • the 'lock' signals from the handles (or key in the lock) at pins 23 of connector B of M66 and M67;
  • Dead lock activation or deactivation signals at pins 24 and 25 of connector B of M66 and M67 ;
  • the lock/release button signal located in control unit on the tunnel H35 at pins 34 and 356 of connector A of M66
  • the signals coming from the aerial-receiver P93 , which is connected to pins 21 and 31 of connector B of M1 .
Intervention of inertia switch I50 is indicated to pin 17 of connector D of Body Computer M1 : this signal also causes door opening. In accordance with the control logic described above control units M66 and M67 controls the lock motors of the front doors (driver's door N50 and front passenger's door N51). Pins 4 and 6 of connector E operate the lock/release motors (B/S); the dead lock (DL) motors are operated from pins 3 and 6 of connector E. Led E36 on the front driver's door is connected to pins pin 6 and 8 of connector C of M66
