Description

The vehicle has two additional fog lights in the front bumper.The fog lights are activated through a button in the control panel in the centre of the dashboard; when the lights are on the warning light in the instrument panel comes on.A special relay, in the engine compartment control unit, controls the switching on of the fog lights via a line protected by a special fuse.

The relay is managed by the Body Computer: the relay is energized in the following conditions:

• go ahead signal with key in ON position (INT);
• signal coming from the switch
• side lights on signal.

In addition, if the side lights are switched off, the fog lights are also switched off even if the button is pressed. When the side lights are switched on again, the fog lights come on again.If the ignition key is switched OFF and then turned back to the ON position, the operating button must be pressed once again in order to turn the fog lights back on.
