2427998 - E3050 ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS - Description (Low setup)
Description
The electric windows in the front doors
are operated through the switches in the handles in the front driver's
door (both windows) and the front passenger door (passenger side only). The operation is manual: the glass only
goes up/down when the button is pressed. Both windows can only be
operated when the ignition is ON.The control switch symbols are lit when
the key is turned to MAR.The circuit is controlled by the services
relay and protected by two fuses, all located in the unit under
the dashboard.Movement takes place whether the ignition
in ON or OFF.With the ignition on, it takes place as
described above; in addition during starting, this relay is temporarily
deactivated. When the ignition is off, the Body Computer
keeps the relay activated - which also supplies the door mirrors
- for 3 minutes, but deactivates it immediately when one of the two
front doors is opened.Movement is also disabled when the battery
voltage is below 10 V.
