2429218 - 4110B10 steering links - r+r on vehicle - check tow-in/tow-out separately

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Proceed with removal  - 4450B12  front or rear wheels (two) - r+r . Measure the length of the steering rods to be used for refitting.1. Loosen the nuts fixing the steering rods to the steering box.2. Undo the nut (2a) and disconnect the steering rods (2b) from the steering knuckles using the tool (2c).

3. Undo the steering rods from the steering box and remove them. Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place the steering rods in their housings, tighten them to the steering box ensuring the lengths measured at the removal are restored.2. Tighten the nuts fixing the steering rods to the steering box to the recommended torque.

3. Connect the steering rods (3a) to the steering knuckles and tighten the nuts (3b) to the recommended torque.

Proceed with refitting  - 4450B12  front or rear wheels (two) - r+r . Remove the car from the ramps.
