Description

The Cruise Control function allows the vehicle to always be driven at a constant speed without pressing the accelerator pedal.The function is managed by the engine control unit which receives a command from the special Cruise Control lever on the left of the steering wheel, under the steering column switch unit.When the function is switched ON, the LED in the lever comes on.When a speed is set (SET +, SET -) it remains memorized and can be recalled at any time (RCL).

The function is automatically switched off:

  • by pressing the brake pedal;
  • by pressing the clutch pedal;
  • by placing the lever in N (automatic transmission).
When the function is switched OFF, the speed memorized is lost.A warning light on the instrument panel (check module) indicates system activation.
