Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the rampRemove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . 1. Disconnect the quick-fit connector on the pipe from the heat exchanger pipe to the power steering fluid reservoir.2. Disconnect the quick-fit connector on the pipe from the power steering box to the heat exchanger pipe.
Recover the power steering fluid which comes out in a suitable container.
1. Undo the nuts (1a) of the heat exchanger pipe mounting bracket (1b).2. Remove the heat exchanger pipe (2a) after releasing it from the band (2b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the heat exchange pipe back in its seating and secure using the band.Tighten the nuts on the heat exchanger pipe mounting bracket.Connect the quick-fit connector on the pipe from the power steering box to the heat exchanger pipe.Connect the quick-fit connector on the pipe from the heat exchanger pipe to the power steering fluid reservoir. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Top up the power assisted circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times. Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Remove the car from the ramps.Start the engine and turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4 - 5 times.Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
