Position the vehicle on the ramp.Check that the tyre treads are not unevenly worn.

Some types of tyres are fitted with wear indicators; they have to be replaced as soon as these indicators become visible.

Do not cross-interchange the tyres.

Check that the tyre pressures are correct, including the spare tyre.

The tyre pressures should be checked on cold tyres.

Check that all the lights are working: headlamps, direction indicators, hazard warning lights, boot light, courtesy light, glove compartment light and instrument panel warning lights. Check that the windscreen wash-wipe system is working correctly and if necessary adjust the jets. Check that the windscreen and rear window wiper blades are correctly positioned and not worn. Check operation of front disc brake pad wear indicator.

Visually check:

• bodywork exterior
• underbody protection
• flexible and rigid sections of the pipes (exhaust - fuel system - brakes)
• rubber components (dust excluders, hoses, bushes, etc.).

Visually check the condition of the timing belt.Visually check the condition of the single engine components drive belt. Change the fuel filter  Refer to op.. 1044B20  fuel filter filtering element - replace . Replace the air filter cartridge  Refer to op.. 1048A14  air cleaner filtering element - replace. . Check and if necessary top up the brake-clutch fluid level Refer to op.. 0010T64 brake and or clutch fluid check level and top up as necessary . Check and, if necessary, top up the power assisted steering fluid level  Refer to op.. 0010T71  power steering fluid check level and top up if necessary . Check and if necessary top up the windscreen washer fluid level.Check and if necessary top up the battery fluid level. Check and if necessary top up the coolant level  Refer to op.. 0010T20  coolant change . Replace the engine oil and filter  Refer to op.. 0010T12  engine oil and filter replace . Replace the brake fluid  Refer to op.. 0010T62  BRAKE and/or CLUTCH FLUID - Replace. fluid - Includes. washing pipes and bleeding air . Change the active charcoal combination particle filter  Refer to op.. 5010B09  purifying filter (antipollen) filter element - replace . At the end of the service, connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic socket on the vehicle and memorize/update the mileage at which the service was carried out.

Before carrying out the active diagnosis, check that the mileage has been set, in kilometres or miles, according to the unit of measurement used in the country.
