During starting (ignition switched ON), the operation of all
the instruments and warning lights is tested: all the warning lights
and the LEDs are switched on for around 4 seconds to check their
operation. In the case of the milometer (LCD), all the LCD segments
are lit up for about 4 seconds to check that they are working.This test function for the warning lights
is managed by the electronic circuits inside the speedometer module
which controls the test for the speedometer circuits and sends signals
to the rev counter and to the auxiliary instrument and the check
module.
