3233002 - B02 STARTER MOTOR NOT WORKING

When the key is turned to the On position the instruments light up, but the starter motor does not turn

	Place the key in the ON position and check that the recharging warning light comes on (it should then go out when the engine is started up).	Continue to Step 1	The recharging warning light does not come on	See table   K40
1	CHECK STARTER MOTOR CONNECTIONS	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check the connections between the battery, alternator and starter motor ( See   E5010  STARTING AND RECHARING ).	Continue to Step 2	Connections not correct	Restore the connections
2	CHECK STARTER MOTOR	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check condition and correct operation of starter motor.	Continue to Step 3	Starter motor faulty.	Overhaul or replace the starter motor.
3	CHECK CORRECT OPERATION	All OK	Problems met	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	Fault persists	Search for the fault starting from another symptom'
