3238132 - 4130B10 power steering fluid resevoir r r

Removing ( Refitting ) Drain the power steering fluid from the reservoir using a suitable syringe.1. Undo the bolts and move the power assisted steering fluid reservoir away from the engine bulkhead.2. Disconnect fluid inlet and outlet pipe from the power steering fluid reservoir (2a) then remove the reservoir (2b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Connect the fluid inlet and outlet pipes to the power assisted steering reservoir.Place the power assisted steering fluid reservoir back in its housing and fix it using the bolts to the bonnet bulkhead.Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times. Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Position the vehicle on the ground and start up the engine.Carry out 4 - 5 complete steering wheel rotation cycles (right and left).Top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Removing ( Refitting ) Remove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe. - 1016A40  ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r . 1. Disconnect the rapid attachment coupling for the fuel vapour recover pipe.Release the fuel vapour recovery pipe from the band on the power steering fluid reservoir and move it away.2. Release the coolant return pipe to the coolant reservoir from the attachments on the fuel manifold.
 - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r . 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the upper bracket supporting the reaction rod, body side (1b).
1. Undo the bolts securing the power steering fluid reservoir.2. Disconnect the pipe from the power steering fluid reservoir cooling coil, reservoir side.3. Disconnect the supply pipe from the power assisted steering fluid reservoir to the pump, reservoir side.4. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir.
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the power steering fluid reservoir in its seating.Connect the supply pipe from the fluid reservoir to the power assisted steering pump, reservoir side.Connect the pipe from the cooling coil to the power assisted steering fluid reservoir, reservoir side.Tighten the power steering fluid reservoir bolts.Place in its seating the upper bracket supporting the reaction rod, bodywork side, and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
