Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r - 1076B50  exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r - 1008A44  rear rigid mount - r r  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r - 1092A12  crankshaft pulley - r+r for versions with air conditioner - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r 1. Undo the bolt connecting the oil sump to the intermediate shaft support.2. Undo the drain plug and drain the engine oil.

Collect the engine oil in a suitable container.

1. Undo the front and rear bolts (1a) for the crankcase sump using the spanner (1b).

2. Undo the side bolts (2a) for the crankcase sump using the spanner (2b).

3. Remove the crankcase sump.

To loosen the sump from the crankcase, apply gentle blows using a resin hammer, then use a screwdriver for leverage on the special projections at the side of the crankcase sump.

Refitting ( Removing ) Apply sealant to the entire perimeter of the crankcase sump.

Fit the crankcase sump and tighten the side bolts to the recommended torque using the spanner.

Tighten the front and rear bolts for the crankcase sump to the recommended torque using the spanner.

Tighten the engine oil drain plug to the recommended torque.

Tighten the bolt securing the oil sump to the intermediate shaft support.  - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r - 1092G20  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r - 1092A12  crankshaft pulley - r+r for versions with air conditioner - 1092G10  single engine belt r r  - 1008A44  rear rigid mount - r r - 1076B50  exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r rRefill the engine lubrication circuit using the recommended oil.
