) Place the steering wheel in the centred position with the wheels straight. - 5580C18 air bag module - r+rClosely observe the safety regulations established for this operation. - 4110A11 steering wheel - r+r for replacement or check for versions with air bag - 7040A26 steering column trim - r+r1. Disconnect the electrical connections.

2. Unscrew the bolts3. Remove the clock spring.

The clock spring is fitted with a device which automatically stops its rotation when it is removed from the steering wheel. Avoid forcing its rotation.

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the wheels are straight.The parts supplied as spares are for fitting in a centred position.

If, for any reason, the upper plate for the clock spring should rotate in relation to the lower one in such a way that the relative position is no longer known, then the clock spring must be replaced.

Position the clock spring in its housing.Tighten the screws.Reconnect the electrical connection.1. If the clock spring is being replaced with a new one, remove the safety tab.
