3237543 - 1056B81 run electronic ignition/injection control unit (single) self-learning procedure

During this procedure, from the moment when the instrument panel is supplied with power until the end of learning, do not press the accelerator, brake or clutch pedals.

Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position).Connect the tool to the diagnostic socket and place the knob in position 3.

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment.Turn the ignition to the ON position).Wait 60 seconds, the time required for the control unit to check the throttle body's internal spring and the butterfly's maximum/minimum angles.Turn the ignition off (STOP position).Wait 15 seconds, the time required for the control unit to save the learnt values in EPROM.Using the Examiner, check that the self-learning of idle speed has finished correctly (LEARNING RESULT - Correct; SELF-LEARNING MEMORIZATION - Completed).

If the self-learning procedure is not correct, turn the ignition off (STOP position) and repeat the above procecure. If the incorrectness continues, check that the diagnostic cable connection is secure and that the instrument is working.
