3233004 - B11 ENGINE STARTS WITH DIFFICULTY' / WHEN WARM

When the engine is warm, for example just after it has been switched off following a long journey, it does not start, or it starts with difficulty, only after repeated attempts. When the key is turned the instruments light up, the starter motor turns, but the engine does not start.

Check:

  • that there are no faults in the engine management control unit
  • plausibility of all the parameters

Lack of dialogue with the control unit Restore the connection between the engine management control unit and the diagnostic connector ( See   E5030  PETROL ENGINE ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT ).

Using the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) carry out the active diagnosis of:

  • vapour recovery solenoid valve
  • Injectors
