3234105 - E3051 ELECTRIC REAR WINDOWS - Description
Description
The rear door electrically-operated windows can be operated by
switches on the front driver's door or switches located on each
of the rear doors.Operation of the rear electrically-operated
windows is manual (the window is raised/lowered only when the switch
is pressed). For safety reasons, a special lock switch
on the front driver's door cuts off power to all switches to prevent
accidental activation from the rear seats, e.g. when children are
present. The rear electric windows circuit is protected
by two specific fuses and controlled by a relay which supplies other
ignition-key operated services. The fuse is located inside the junction
unit, and the relay is located on the right hand side under the
facia.The rear electrically-operated windows will
work only when the key is turned to MAR.The control switch symbols are lit when
the key is turned to MAR.
