The lighting of the luggage compartment is timed according to
a logic managed by the integrated services control unit, on the
right hand side, under the dashboard:When the boot is opened, a light is turned
on for a timed interval of 20 minutes (this function ensures that
the battery does not go flat if the car is left with the boot open).Timer operation is suspended when the boot
is closed.A light inside the glove compartment is
turned on - only with the ignition turned to MAR - when the compartment
is opened, and goes off when the compartment is closed.A light under the sunblind is turned on
- only with the ignition turned to MAR- when a switch on the blind
is turned on.The circuit for the boot light and the sun
visor light is protected by the same fuse as the courtesy lights,
two fuses also protect the direct and ignition-controlled supply
lines for the integrated services control unit. The circuit for the glove compartment light
is protected by the fuse for the supplies controlled by the ignition,
at the side of the junction unit.Numerous other interior instrument and control
lights are present. These are turned on when the side lights are
turned on. The lines are described and illustrated in the relevant
component wiring diagrams.
