Description

The check module in the centre, behind the steering wheel, includes: the check device for the doors and boot and a series of warning lights.The doors check device detects if one of the doors or boot is open and lights up the LED and the ideograma of the entire car. In addition, all the LEDs come on for about 4 seconds when the ignition is switched ON to check that they are working properly and then they go out.

The following warning lights are contained in this module:

• 'Air Bag failure'
• 'CODE failure'
• 'Cruise Control'
• 'seat belts fastened'
• 'passenger Air Bag disabled'
• 'insufficient engine oil pressure'
• 'recharging'

The operation of the warning lights which are not included in other functions is illustrated; the others are described and illustrated in the diagrams dealing with the components to which they refer.The check instrument operates when the ignition is switched ON.
