) 1. Unscrew the wiring retaining clips.2. Disconnect the recirculation actuator electrical connection.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fan.

4. Disconnect the electrical connections from the fan resistor.

5. Release the relay carrier from the bracket.6. Remove the wiring harness with relays.

1. Remove the shroud cover.2. Remove the heater radiator with mount.3. Separate the radiator from the mount.

1. Undo the retaining bolt.2. Turn the fan unit anticlockwise and remove.3. Press the vibration-proof pads and separate the fan motor from the mount.4. Remove the resistance.

1. Remove the control linkage cover.2. Disconnect the air mixing control bowden cable.3. Disconnect the air distribution control bowden cable.4. Remove the linkage unit.5. Remove the recirculation actuator.6. Recover the control lever.

1. Remove the retaining clips using the appropriate tool.

2. Remove the lower half casing.

1. Cut the rubber protection.2. Cut the gasket.Work with caution so that you are able to put the protection and gasket together again by joining the cut edges.3. Undo the retaining bolt.4. Remove the air duct.5. Separate both halves of the air shroud.6. Withdraw the recirculation flap from its pin.

1. Undo the bolts securing the upper casing half.2. Turn the upper casing upward and remove.3. Cut the gaskets.Work with caution so that you are able to put the gasket together again by joining the cut edges. 4. Separate both casing halves.5. Withdraw the mixing flap from its pin.6. withdraw the lower mixing flap from its pin.7. Withdraw front mixing flap (7a) from its pin (7b). Recover return spring (7c).8. Withdraw the upper distribution flap from its pin.

Reassembling ( Dismantling

) Check that the components are not damaged.1. Fit the flaps to their pins.Adjust to fit detent tooth (1a) into its seat (1b) on the pin.

Refit both case halves.Fit the gaskets.Put the gaskets together by joining their cut ends carefully.Fit the upper case half and secure with bolts.1. Fit the recirculation flap to its pin.Adjust to fit detent tooth (1a) into its seat (1b) on the pin.

Fit both air shroud case halves together and tighten the retaining bolts.Position the seal.Put the gasket together by joining their cut ends carefully. Fit the lower case half and secure with the clips.Press the clips home without forcing.Fit the air recirculation flap control lever.Fit the air recirculation actuator.Fit the control linkage unit.Fit the linkage unit correctly to the pins.Connect the bowden cables.Fit the control linkage cover.Fit the fan resistor.Press the antivibration pads and reassemble the fan unit.Insert the fan in its housing and turn it clockwise.Tighten the retaining bolt.Fit the heater radiator in its mount and secure to the shroud.Fit the shroud cover.Fit the wiring harness to the unit.Connect the electrical connections and secure the wiring harness using the clips.
