) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

- 1008C10 power unit upper reaction link r r1. Open the electrical connections box cover.2. Disconnect the engine coupling.3. Disconnect the electrical connections (3a) and (3b) for the rear Lambda sensors and the catalytic converter.

4. Disconnect the electrical connection for the detonation sensor, timing side.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the connections box (1b).

Drain the brake-clutch fluid from the reservoir using a suitable syringe.1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the injection-ignition electronic control unit.

1. Disconnect the fuel vapour quick-release connector (1a) and release from retaining collar (1b).2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the bracket (2b) from the engine compartment bulkhead.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and move power assisted steering fluid reservoir (1b) away from the engine bulkhead.

Disconnect the vacuum intake pipe from the brake servo.1. Disconnect the rigid pipe from reservior to master cylinder, master cylinder hose side.2. Release the rigid pipe from reservoir to master cylinder from the fastenings on the engine bay bulkhead.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and lift up the brake fluid reservoir (3b), as necessary.4. Disconnect the rigid pipe from the reservoir to the master cylinder on the reservoir side and remove it.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder and connect it to the reservoir.Place the power assisted steering fluid reservoir back in its housing and fix it using the bolts to the bonnet bulkhead.Secure the rigid pipe from reservoir to master cylinder using the fastenings on the engine bay bulkheadConnect the rigid pipe from reservoir to master cylinder, master cylinder connection hose side.Connect the vacuum intake pipe to the brake servo.Secure the power steering reservoir to the engine bulkhead.Fit the bracket to the engine bulkhead using the bolts.Connect the fuel vapour pipe quick release fitting, then secure to the support bracket on the engine bay bulkhead.Connect the electrical connections to the injection/ignition control unit.

Position the connection box and secure with bolts.Connect the electrical connection for the detonation sensor, timing side.

Connect the engine junction.Close the connection box cover. - 1008C10 power unit upper reaction link r r- 0010T64 brake and or clutch fluid check level and top up as necessary - 0010T65 hydraulic brake system bleed air - 0010T67 hydraulic clutch system bleed airConnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
