Functional description

The main beam headlamps circuit is operated by the steering column switch unit H5 . When the switch is turned to the main beam position, or when the 'flashing' contact is closed, the line which supplies the (left) F10 and (right) F11 headlamps receives a supply controlled by the ignition. - - Each circuit is protected by a fuse for the junction unit B1 : F7 for the left lamp and F6 for the right one. The suppy line for the left headlamp also sends a signal to the rev counter module E15 (pin 4 of connector B) to light up the 'main beam headlamps on' warning light.
