Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

Disconnect the electrical connections from the alternator.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and move the alternator (2b) aside.  - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r1. Undo the bolts (1a) and move the power assisted steering fluid reservoir (1b) aside.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the timing belt right side protection (2b). 1. Undo the bolts (1a) for the power assisted steering pump drive pulley using a suitable spanner (1b) for counter-torque.2. Remove the power assisted steering pump drive pulley.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and move the power assisted steering pump (3b) aside without disconnecting the pipes.  - 4410A80  damper lower fork - r r - 2710A10  drive shaft with joints (one), l/h or r/h - r + r - 2710A30  intermediate drive shaft - r + r with r/h drive shaft removed1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the support on the engine for the reaction rod, various engine components and intermediate driveshaft (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the support on the enigne for the reaction rod, various engine components and intermediate driveshaft and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

 - 2710A30  intermediate drive shaft - r + r with r/h drive shaft removed - 2710A10  drive shaft with joints (one), l/h or r/h - r + r - 4410A80  damper lower fork - r rPlace the power assisted steering pump back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Fit the power assisted steering pump drive pulley and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque using a suitable spanner for counter-torque.

Fit the timing belt right side protection and fix it using the bolts.Place the power assisted steering fluid reservoir back in its housing and fix it using the bolts. - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r rPlace the alternator back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.
