Before removing and refitting the sensor, the following preliminary operations must be carried out: - Turn the ignition off "STOP" and remove the key; - Disconnect the battery.

Removing ( Refitting

) - 7040H36 central trim lower element - r r1. Unscrew both retaining bolts.2. Withdraw the sensor from the bottom.3. Disconnect the electrical connection and remove the sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the sensor is not damaged.Connect the electrical connection.Place the sensor in its seating.Tighten the bolts. - 7040H36 central trim lower element - r rConnect the battery.Check system operation using the Examiner or another tester.
