When required, the climate control system
ECU automatically activates the cooling circuit and dehumidifies
the air by operating the air conditioner compressor.The left button in the climate control control
panel enables the operation of the air cooling circuit; when the
button is pressed the LED comes on.The operation of the air cooling circuit
is also enabled automatically (without pressing the button) when
the ignition key is turned to the ON position if the temperature
of the air at the vents is below the temperature of the outside
air.the above button enables the operation of
the air cooling circuit; but the actual switching on of the compressor
is excluded at low external temperatures.
The compressor may also be deactivated by
the 4-stage pressure switch or the engine management unit according
to the engine management software, which is different for each engine

The compressor supply circuit is controlled
by a specific relay, located in the engine bay close to the battery.The relay contact line is protected by a
special fuse and by the exclusion relay controlled by the ignition,
located in the junction unit.The energizing line is protected by the
fuse which protects other supplies controlled by the ignition.
