Before working on the Air Bag system, follow the safety instructions for working on the system very carefully (See 5580C - Air Bag System - Precautions).

 - 4110A11  steering wheel - r+r for replacement or check for versions with air bag - 7040A26  steering column trim - r+r - 5580C12  clock spring for air bag module on steering wheel r r - 5550A12  complete stalk unit - r+r for versions with air bag - 5580C22  AIR BAG MODULE - Passenger side - R.R. - 7040H30  front pillar trim - r r (right and left)  - 7040A10  instrument facia trim - r+r  - 1056B82  injection/ignition system e.c.u. (one) - r + r  - 5010B45  duct from climate control system - r r (right and left)  - 5010B46  central air duct to rear seat - arrange - 5580C14  air bag ecu - r+r 1. Connect a probe to the end of side flasher leads (1a) and winscreen wiper motor lead (1b).This operation is necessary to make it easier to refit the wires in their seats.Withdraw the electrical wires from the body and leave the probes in place.2. Disconnect clips (2a) retaining front brake pad sensor right and left leads (2b).3. Disconnect the electrical connections.Remove or disconnect any other wiring retainers.4. Prise out the rubber pad from the partition.5. Remove the front wiring harness by withdrawing from the engine bay. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the wiring is undamaged and that the individual conductors are firmly attached to the connections.Check that the connections are fitted with anti-slip devices (secondary lock).If necessary, check the continuity.Refit the front wiring harness by inserting from the engine bay.Refit the rubber pad in the partition.Connect the electrical connection to the engine wiring.Connect the various electrical connections.Fit the retaining clips to the front brake pade sensor left and right wires.Use the probes fitted during removal to insert the side flasher electrical wires and the windscreen wiper motor lead.Secure the windscreen wiper motor lead using a retaining clip.Connect the windscreen wiper motor electrical connection and refit the protective boot.Position the upper flap of the partition panel.Secure the front wiring harness using retaining clips.Do up the retaining stud.Fit the brake fluid reservoir, tighten the bolts and connect the electrical connection.Fit the bracket and tighten the bolts.Fit the power steering fluid reservoir and tighten the bolts.Fit the bracket and tighten the bolt.Secure the fuel pipe using a clamp.Fit the weather strip.Connect the electrical connections.Connect the earth terminal.Close the left wiring sleeve.Secure the relays to the mount.Connect the left headlamp alignment motor electrical connection.Close the right wiring sleeve.Fit the wiring clip and do up the bolt.Connect the windscreen and headlamp washer pump electrical connections.Connect the electrical connections for the horns.Connect the right headlamp alignment motor electrical connection.Connect the rear wiring electrical connections.Connect the brake light switch electrical connection.Connect the facia wiring electrical connection.Connect the ignition switch electrical connection.Connect the electrical connections between front wiring harness and junction unit / CODE control unit.Fit the junction unit / CODE control unit mounting and tighten the retaining bolts. - 3340A13  abs central mount - r r - 3340A12  A'B.S. system. - electronic and hydraulic CONTROL UNIT R.R. - 5530B52  Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R. - 5530B10  battery - r+r - 7055A18  Windscreen base TRIM - R.R. - 5050B34  windscreen wiper arm/s complete with blade - r+r - 5550C22  l/h or r/h side flasher (one) - r+r (right and left)  - 7025A26  bonnet lid opening control - repair - 7025A24  boot lid opening lever - r+r - 7025A34  bonnet lid lock (one) - r+r or repair - 7055A41  RIGHT FRONT GRILLE - R.R.
