1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the engine cooling fan resistor.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the resistor for the engine cooling fan (2b).

The figure shows the resistor for the top engine cooling fan. Do the same for the removal/refitting of the resistor for the bottom engine cooling fan.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the engine cooling fan resistor in its seating and fix it with its bolts.Connect the electrical connections to the resistor for the engine cooling fan.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r .
