3237405 - 0010T10 engine oil check level and top up

Check the engine oil level with the car level and engine off. Wait a few minutes (5 minutes) after the engine is turned off.
1. Remove the engine oil dipstick, clean and then fully reinsert. Remove and check the level is between the MIN and MAX limits.
The gap between the MIN and MAX limits corresponds to about one litre of oil.
Work carefully inside the engine bay when the engine is warm to avoid the danger of burns. Remember that the fan may start moving when the engine is very hot: risk of injury.
2. If the oil level is close to or even below the MIN level, add the recommended oil through the oil filler opening up to the MAX mark.
When the engine oil level is over the MAX level following a normal check, adjust the level.
After topping up the engine oil, allow the engine to run for a few seconds, then turn off and leave for a few minutes before checking the level again.
