No wind noise is located Continue to Step 2 The noise is coming from the side of the bonnetCheck the foam blocks at the point where the bonnet and wings fit together at the rear Check the condition of the wind seal and make sure it is properly fitted Op.   7025A62 
The wind noise is coming from the area of the shield Check for the presence of a seal between bonnet and radiator shield Op.   7055A40 
The noise is coming from the front of the bonnet Check the condition of the front wind seal and make sure it is properly fitted Op.   7025A62

Check the flame damper partition. In particular, ascertain:

  • the plugs are fitted
  • the plugs are correctly fitted
  • the rubber cable covers are fitted correctly
  • the sealing is efficient
