Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the protection (1b) for the fluid return pipe from to the turbocharger.2. Disconnect the fluid return pipe from the turbocharger from the crankcase sump.
1. Disconnect the condensed oil return pipe from the oil vapour separator from the crankcase sump.2. Undo the drain plug and drain the engine oil.
Collect the engine oil in a suitable container.
3. Undo the bolt connecting the oil sump to the intermediate shaft support.
1. Undo the front and rear bolts (1a) for the crankcase sump using the spanner (1b).

3. Lower the crankcase sump, as necessary, and undo the bolts for the engine oil intake.
To loosen the sump from the crankcase, apply gentle blows using a resin hammer, then use a screwdriver for leverage on the special projections at the side of the crankcase sump.
4. Remove the crankcase sump (4a) together with the engine oil inlet (4b).
Refitting ( Removing ) Apply the recommended sealant to the entire perimeter of the crankcase sump.
