FunctionThe two-speed electric cooling fans increase the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator and/or air conditioning condenser. They are controlled directly by the engine management control unit in accordance with a specific operating logic  Characteristic of working principle 1060G  pressure pump electric control .

Control of the engine coolant temperature

At engine coolant temperatures above 105° C, the engine management control unit:

• reduces the quantity of fuel injected (reduces the engine power);
• operates the cooling fan through the fan interface;
• lights up the coolant overheating warning light in the instrument panel.
