) Place the driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.1. Remove the circlip (1a) and withdraw the tripod joint from the drive shaft (1b).2. Loosen the band (2a) and remove the protective boot (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) If necessary, renew the grease inside the differential side sliding joint.

The above quantity is divided between 70 +/- 5 g in the sliding joint and 70 +/- 5 g in the boot.

Place the protective boot in its housing and secure it using a new band.Place the three lobe joint in its housing on the driveshaft and secure it using the circlip.Remove the driveshaft from the vice.
