Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 4450B11  WHEEL (one) rear - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

1. Undo the nut (1a) securing the rear anti-roll bar joint (1b) to the shock absorber.2. Tighten the bolts (2a), the move the rear brake caliper (2b) and remove the brake pads (2c).
1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the active A.B.S. sensor.

2. Undo the bolts securing the shock absorber and the track control arms to the stub axle.3. Remove the bush.Suitably secure the wheel hub stub axle.
Working via the luggage compartment, move the trim away from the shock absorber attachment area.1. Undo the nut (1a), then remove the upper shim (1b) and the spring/shock absorber assembly for the rear suspension (1c).
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the spring/shock absorber assembly for the rear suspension back in its housing together with the upper shim, then secure it to the bodyshell by tightening the nut to torque.

Place the boot housing trim back in its housing.Tighten the upper bolt fixing the shock absorber to the stub axle for the wheel hub to the recommended torque.

Tighten the lower bolt fixing the shock absorber and the track control arms to the stub axle to torque.

Connect the electrical connection for the active A.B.S. sensor.

1. Compress the rear brake caliper piston (1a) using the tool (1b) A to facilitate the refitting of the brake caliper.

Fit the brake caliper complete with brake pads and fasten it to the mounting tightening the bolts to torque.
