The direction indicators and hazard warning
lights delimit the outer dimensions of the car.The left and right direction indicators
are operated by raising or lowering the appropriate lever on the
stalk unit. The hazard warning lights (right and left
direction indicators operated simultaneously) are turned on by the
pressing the red button at the centre of the dashboard. The direction indicators work with the ignition
on, while for safety reasons, the hazard warning lights can be turned
on at any time, as they are supplied directly from the battery. The circuit for the direction indicators
and hazard warning lights is protected by a single fuse. Two warning lights on the instrument panel
(rev counter module), which also flash, show when the right or left
direction indicator is on.The red hazard warning light button contains
two leds: the first green one is ignition-operated and lights up
the specific symbol; The second red light comes on intermittently
when the hazard warning lights are operated. The hazard warning lights are also operated
by the door opening remote control, which controls a special relay.
