guard protection - r r or arrange with door panel removed1. Disconnect the linkage (1a) from the control mechanism (1b).2. Disconnect the rod from the guide springs.3. Disconnect the linkage from the lock and save it.
Refitting

Check that the link is undamaged.1. Replace the rod retaining bushes.2. Connect the linkage to the lock.3. Connect the rod to the guide springs.4. Connect the linkage to the control mechanism.
