Description
A Blaupunkt radio, with a built-in GSM cellular telephone, called "RADIOPHONE", is available as an optional extra. (r)The radio is the same size as a regular radio console.The "RADIOPHONE" may be used as a radio when not using the phone or waiting for a call.The telephone system (the keyboard on the Radiophone allows the desired number to be dialled) has the following features:
- GSM type equipment;
- SIM card (which also acts as a KEY CARD);
- incoming number identification;
- debit indication.
The complete system consists of:
- two separate aerials (one for the radio and one for the phone): the first is the aerial normally built into the rear window for the standard radio set. The second is a special aerial located at the rear in the middle of the roof.
- phone microphone, located on the interior rear view mirror base
- separate front power and tweeter speakers, located in the doors;
- special "twin cone" right front speaker (used by both the radio and the telephone);
- rear speakers, located in the doors;
- rear speakers on the rear parcel rack
- leads connecting the radio to the speakers;
