	Checking operation of sun-roof devices with the roof fully open, check that the felt pads beneath the front spoiler are present with the roof fully open, check that the teflon mount between slides and rails is present with the roof tilted open, check the clearance between central groove and slides with the roof tilted open, check the pads sliding along the central groove are in good condition and properly fastened	Continue to Step 3	Fastenings faulty	Repair all mechanism components and fastenings (see Assembly 7030B)
